I’ll post the new $1,600 Loukoumades machine when it arrives.
For the 2018 season, Im thinking of adding loukoumades to the menu. So I have been researching different types of loukoumades machine from around the world.
There are a lot of machines out there.
It just depends on what your needs are.
The machine I am looking for would be small, light, and able to put away and set up every weekend.
For those of you who don’t know what loukoumades are.
They are deep fried fluffy dough ball that is crunchy on the outside and airy on the inside.
Its suppose to come out piping hot and doused in honey. They taste like heaven in your mouth. Its very delicious and very addictive.
If you have not tried it, I suggest you look up Greek festivals near your home and go there just to have some loukoumades.
Greek festivals comes once a year if you missed you might have to wait another year.
Another option is to look up greek restaurants in your are that might have loukoumades on the menu. That would probably be your best bet.
If you can’t find any in your area then your last chance is to buy a loukoumades mix here and do it yourself.
Once my loukoumades machine arrives, I’ll prolly spend the next month or so on the weekend to test out the perfect loukoumades recipe.
The main reason is cost. Buying the mix is really expensive.
I’m not a loukoumades expert or anything, far from it. I just want a simple recipe that I myself would love to eat every week.
I’m also not quite sure what kind of toppings I will be providing. I’ll have honey for sure, maybe cinnamon & sugar, powder sugar, and Nutella.
I’m not sure if this whole loukoumades idea will work out. The loukoumades machine might not turn out to be what I expected. It could not work as advertised, who knows.
Not every idea I’ve tried has panned out. We’ll just have to wait and see.
